Engagement

Predac Immobilien Management AG has been contributing know-how and professional expertise to the commission for urban development, building and property of the German economic council (Wirtschaftsrat) since 2015.

The economic council is an association of professionals operating throughout Germany, representing the interests of its 11 000 members in the area of politics, administration and the public. It is financed exclusively through membership fees. Since its foundation in 1963 it has been an important platform for participation in economic and social policy.

Bianca Bender, manager of Predac Immobilien Verwaltungsgesellschaft, joined the board of directors in 2015 and has played a key role in the development of the Verein IMMOEBS.

Counting about 2,600 members, IMMOEBS constitutes the largest alumni-network of the real estate industry in Germany. All members graduated from one of the two leading universities in the field of real estate: IRE|BS Immobilienakademie/Universität Regensburg and the Real Estate Management Institute of the EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht. It closely cooperates with leading real estate organisations such as the Gesellschaft für immobilienwirtschaftliche Forschung gif e.V., the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors RICS and the Zentralen Immobilien Ausschuss Deutschland ZIA e.V. In total, about 75 banks, insurance companies as well as businesses operating in the housing and real estate industry in Germany engage in this network.

Predac Immobilien Management has been supporting the network since 2009 financially as well as through the provision of work experience opportunities for students. Moreover, Mr. Volker Hardegen, the initiator of the network, is also a member of the supervisory board of Predac Immobilienmanagement AG, resulting in a close personal link between the organisations.

The network uses its funds primarily to provide students with additional lectures, to further the international exchange of know-how and to support trade fairs financially.

Young people are not only the future but also the present. Therefore Predac Immobilien Management AG supports the charity “Gib mir deine Hand” (Give me your hand). Its director Dr. Pues is a co-founder of the charity.

“Gib mir deine Hand” seeks to reduce the fatal link between social and financial status on the one hand and educational opportunity on the other. Only those children that obtain the opportunity to make use of their full potential will grow to become adults willing to contribute to our society and take responsibility for others.
